Overview
Corringston was founded durring the late 14th century in winter of the year 1299, by Ga̋chvēb Cú̄shvoī 'Diamond Heaven' Haw̄b Gōw̄y Gābó̄y McMorrow. The establishment of Corringston was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Ga̋chvēb Cú̄shvoī 'Diamond Heaven' Haw̄b Gōw̄y Gābó̄y McMorrow struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Corringston as a prison colony.
Corringston was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Corringston is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Corringston is buildings have been located at convienant points along the mountain Corringston was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the restrictive gravel streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Corringston 's cost-cutting-focused defences are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
Corringston is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. You get the terrible feeling that whatever it was, the wound it left will simply never heal. This town is as a necropolice.

Cultural Notes
Corringston 's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
In Corringston sometimes, near one of the seasonal solstices, the sun appears to split into three and it rains from a clear sky for several hours.
The Amoeba, Giant near Corringston are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Corringston 's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves sex to channel Mysticism energies of tier 3 via divine sermons.
